Difficult Words & Meanings
- NCERT: National Council of Educational Research and Training; an official Indian government body that creates and distributes school textbooks and educational materials.
- CBSE: Central Board of Secondary Education; India's main board for school education, setting curriculum and conducting exams like the 10th and 12th grade finals.
- Real Numbers: All numbers you can find on a number line, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and irrational numbers like π (pi).
- Polynomials: Mathematical expressions with variables (like 'x' or 'y') and coefficients (numbers multiplying variables), involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative whole number exponents (e.g., 3x² - 2x + 5).
- Region (in exam context): A specific geographic area for which a distinct version of an exam paper is created (e.g., Delhi Region papers are for students in Delhi).
