............................ God had rewarded Rohan’s hard work. The trophy shone in his hands.

A Surprise Win
On the night before the Zonal Debate Competition, after having dinner, Rohan ran straight into his room, for he had no time to waste. Everyone was fast asleep, but he started practising for the debate.

He had been preparing for weeks and was now perfect with the content. Rohan tried to get some sleep but the nervousness kept building up. He was worried if he would be able to do well and live up to the expectations of his teachers and family. After some time, his mother came to his room. She knew he was anxious. She told him, "Give your best. Leave the results to luck. Just do your part well and everything falls in place." With these reassuring words he went to sleep.

Soon the sun rose and it was time to make a move. Everyone at school wished him well, which motivated him a lot. Rohan took a deep breath and removed all the doubts he had. It was his turn to face the audience. He started with confidence and voiced his opinion clearly. Everyone seemed impressed, but it was too early to expect victory. It was a tough call as everyone performed well. But the surprise came when his school was announced as the winner. His happiness knew no bounds when he raised the trophy in pride on behalf of my school. God had

rewarded Rohan's hard work. The trophy shone in his hands.
